What is Vintalk Business Voice & Data Services?
Vintalk’s Business Voice & Data Services is an integrated voice and data solution that delivers next-generation voice technology over a proven reliable broadband connection, coupled with a company-wide Web portal, as well as quality Customer Care and round-the-clock support.
How does Vintalk Business Voice & Data Services work?
Vintalk’s Business Voice & Data Services is based on Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), a method by which voice is digitized and transmitted in digital packets rather than using traditional circuit-committed protocols—standard telephone lines—of the public switched telephone network (PSTN).
How is Vintalk Business Voice & Data Services different from my current telephone service?
The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) is the traditional phone network which American tax dollars built over the last 100 years and, depending on whose territory you are in, is currently maintained by large telecommunication companies. VoIP uses something called a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) over the same Internet path that you use to view Web pages. The Internet moves your voice packet just like it would move a data packet.
Does Vintalk Business Voice & Data Services deliver the same quality?
Yes! Our intelligent technology recognizes voice traffic and will prioritize the ‘voice packets’ over data packets to ensure quality. This is called DIFFserve, for which all voice traffic in the data pipe is groomed with the highest priority. We also offer MPLS internet circuits to further improve voice quality and internet security.
Is Vintalk’s Business Voice & Data Service comparable to traditional phone service?
With Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service, voice service levels are fully guaranteed when coupled with a Business Broadband Service circuit for 99.99% uptime. A business’ core voice network includes multiple backbones, peering exchanges, and direct private connections to transit providers and transit peers to ensure speed and reliability.
How is Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service different from a traditional Phone system?
Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service goes far beyond traditional PBX, IP-PBX, Key, or Centrex services to offer a variety of IP-based functionality, scalability and geographical coverage for increased business flexibility and a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). When compared to the features, functionality and relative costs of PBX, IP-PBX and Centrex services, Vintalk comes out ahead on all accounts, with the additional benefit of owning and managing our own international VoIP network.
How is Vintalk Voice & Data Business Services different from other VoIP providers?
Unlike other providers that do not have full control over the networks to which calls are placed, Vintalk began to build its own global VoIP network in 2001, and continues to expand coverage today through additional software and hardware, as well as partnerships with other qualified partners. Not only do we own and manage our own network, but we designed it as well: concentrating on delivering extraordinary dependability and performance. So, rather than be dependent on another carrier, Vintalk has full control over our quality of service.
Is Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service secure?
Yes. Voice traffic is carried to and from the PSTN over the Vintalk’s own broadband network, and also on the network of selected partners; therefore, we can assure voice privacy; with no worry of eavesdropping and hacking.
Does Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service restrict my calling to traditional phone systems?
Your calling is not restricted. Vintalk Business Voice & Data Service allows end-users to call anyone anywhere in the world.
